Latest Adventures of Bernadette and Anthony in Central and East Africa We have written these primarily for our own benefit, so that in times to come we can relive the pleasant experiences we enjoyed in Africa. However, we would like to share our experiences with you if you are interested and have the time to read them. We realise that lots within these reports are of much more interest to us than to others, so we will understand if they are not of great interest to you. The first chapter is very short as it just covers our one night stopover in Johannesburg on our way to the “real Africa”, a phrase some of our hosts used often. There are a further six chapters covering our visits to Malawi, Zambia, Tanzania, Uganda, our two day stopover in Johannesburg on the way home and a one of general observations on our trip.
